Alberto Corune, the part-owner of Chez Marcel, has brought a touch of delicious French dining to Prague.
I tried the omelette with ham and toast all for under 110Kc, but the meal was so delicious I would have paid much more! The omelette was filled with ham, mushrooms and cheese, and I even got to season it with some Tobasco Sauce. The crowd is very international, yet comfortable like home, and you can find children running around, dogs on the floor and people just relaxing. As Courne says, "this place is for everybody." If you stay long enough and are over the aches and pains from the night before, the happy hour starts at four in the afternoon every day. Haštalská 12, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, Tel: +420 222 315 676, www.chezmarcel.cz, Open: Mon. - Fri.: 8:00 - 01:00, Sat. - Sun.: 09:00 - 01:00, Metro Namesti Republiky, Trams 5, 14 |
