"The cinema to uplift you", is not only a cinema.
There used to be a sound tradition whereby short films were screened in cinemas before the main features. That was unfortunately done away with and the short films replaced mostly by soulless advertising. Take a look, for instance, at the film Ostry Hugo by Aurel Klimt and compare it with the cowboys in the Marlboro advert. You'll see who comes off best.
